The RIGHT house should fit your lifestyle, your commute, your needs, your dreams AND your budget. It needs to be a smart investment but also needs to put a smile on your face and give you a sense of pride every time you pull into the driveway. Home is where we spend time with our families, make memories and experience some of the best things this life has to offer. The bottom line is that you owe it to yourself to seek out the right agent before you start looking for a home or selling the one you're already in ... or both.
While the internet has certainly made it easier to see what's for sale, buying a home is a huge investment and it takes equal measures of knowledge and experience as well as diligence and patience to find a property that is truly a perfect fit while simultaneously reducing the risk of potentially costly mistakes. Shopping for a new home (or selling your current one) is one of the most fun, exciting things you can do in this lifetime, but without an agent who is dedicated to looking out for your best interests, it can also quickly become overwhelming and stressful.
Real estate is not rocket science, by any means, but there are a lot of "moving parts" in a real estate purchase and it's unlike anything else you'll ever buy. Finding the house is just the beginning, but I'll be there to help you with everything it takes to get you from that point to where you get the keys and move in! Since most people only go through this process a handful of times throughout the course of their entire lifetime, it's just not typical for them to stay current on everything from financing options to contract terms, frequent changes to the fine print, market trends, top negotiating practices, etc. Knowing what to look for when it comes to home inspections, repairs, surveys, title issues and the like and who to call to handle those issues can prevent costly mistakes, too. Every house is different and there's literally no "one size fits all" method for this process, but the good news is that I do this every day. I have helped hundreds of people navigate this entire process successfully and happily and I am here to do the same for you.
While having a real estate professional to help you is one of the best decisions you can make, it's important to realize that all agents are not the same AND that you have a choice. So, before you just settle for the first agent who crosses your path, stop and ask yourself if that agent comes across as being knowledgeable, capable and genuinely concerned about YOU (or if they seem more interested in their own status and ability to meet sales quotas). You have the right to be particular about who you will trust with your future and you don't have to settle for becoming a guinea pig for your friend who just got their real estate license or allowing your close family member or friend know the intimate details about your finances and credit history, or (worst of all) suffering through a decade of awkward Thanksgiving dinners because working with your uncle turned resulted in a good commission for him and an ongoing money pit for you!
I am humbled and grateful that I have the opportunity to do what I love every day, largely because of the ongoing referrals that I receive from clients I have helped in the past. I believe that the reason my past clients tell others about me is because they can depend on me to take good care of their friends and family with the same dedication I had with them. It is important to me that you feel the same way long after you're moved into your new home.
At the rather big risk of sounding a little sappy here, I really mean it when I say that the best reward I can get is handing you the keys to a house that I know you will love, enjoy and make happy memories in for years to come; one that you can afford and still have room for a great quality of life. That never gets old to me. I love everything about being a Realtor, from hunting for the perfect house to investigating the issues and overcoming the challenges that are so often involved when the job is done right.
It's really never too early to get started. In fact, the sooner the better, so whenever it's convenient for you, just call me and let's just talk about your needs, dreams and budget. I promise you will find that there are no strings attached and no pressure here, ever. You will be always be in charge of making the ultimate decisions and setting the pace and I'll be here to serve as your advocate, adviser and guide. So whether you have plenty of time to shop or need something right away, you can count on me to help you fully explore the options and investigate the details to find a house that makes sense for you financially, logistically and emotionally before you take that important step. We'll definitely have a lot of fun, but I'll be there for the tough stuff, too and I will do everything I can to make sure you are satisfied and happy with your ultimate decision.
I genuinely consider it a blessing to serve you and look forward to talking with you soon. Feel free to call or text my cell at 615-500-7082 anytime!
